The New testaments commandments are simplified into 6 commandments


1. Do not kill     

2. Do not commit adultery     

3. Do not steal      

4. Do not bear false witness      

5. Do not defraud.      

6. Honour Thy father and mother


The following are not commandments but essential tennets to Christianity



1. Love God with all your heart, soul and might.

2. Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

It is worth noting that while most denomenations follow the New Testament exclusively, almost all Christians denomenations say that the moral laws of the Old Testament still apply today.
