The New Testaments commandments are simplified into 6 commandments
1. Do not kill
2. Do not commit adultery
3. Do not steal
4. Do not bear false witness
5. Do not defraud.
6. Honour Thy father and mother

The following are not commandments but essential tennets to Christianity
1. Love God with all your heart, soul and might.
2. Do unto others as you would have them do to you (Golden Rule).



Although most of Christianity follows the new covenant (New Testament), many denomenations insist that the Moral law of the old covenant still applies to Christians.
